How I like to shop…

I love a good deal and I like to shop with Jessamyn. She and I have similar coloring and taste.

It’ll look better with a camisole…and fo taste.

I get to share her fashion expertise. This morning I felt like a kindergartener with a gold star when she complimented my jeans. “What brand are they?” Jessamyn asked.  I had to check, “Adriano Goldschmied.”

She nodded approval.

On a free Seattle afternoon Jessamyn and I meandered to Banana Republic. I like Trina Turk and know she’s done a line for Banana. Plus I have a $15 birthday coupon.

The Trina pieces are disappointing, chintzy.

Jessamyn picks a couple other pieces to try, as do I. A DVF knock-off wrap dress, and a rust crocheted sweater. She and I both have a similar one in green and love it.

The top, my only purchase, is a winner.

And I feel like one too.

Originally 89.50, it’s marked down to 69.99.

All sale items are an additional 25% off.

My Banana card, that day, gives me an additional 10% off.

THEN comes my $15 birthday coupon.

So I walk out of the store with a sweater retailing at 89.50, for a mere—including tax, mind you—35.30.

A five bikini deal.
