Driving to Telluride…whew it’s a long way. Gorgeous sunset this evening. Nice. But the reason isn’t. Wild fires in chunks of Colorado.
Spent minutes of exhaustion after driving across Nevada and Utah trying to figure out if the fires will get in our way tomorrow. Apparently we are safe. Big fire near Grand Junction, but the opposite direction we’re going.
As is often the way..news is one thing in the headlines and another thing when it is up close and personal.
